This training is suitable for both helicopter and aeroplane operations offering advanced procedural training for all over water activities. We have been delivering HUET and aviation emergency training since 1989 and pioneered simulator designs and training activities. Our experience has shown that procedural trainers offer the correct balance of realism, skills development, safety and access to many pools without the need for cranes or complex lifting devices.

A Statement of Attainment for the Unit of Competency AVIF0038 - Undertake Aircraft Underwater Escape and Survival is issued by MTO Group Pty Trading as Everest Training Solutions (RTO NO: 32493) on successful completion of the training.

Preparing for HUET
Initial training preparing for in-water activities is conducted poolside to build student confidence and procedural skills. Students receive one on one instruction in this activity to overcome any apprehension and develop the base level escape techniques.

In the water preparing for rollover simulation
Our procedural trainers offer easy access to multiple locations. We can bring the training to your preferred location.
After years of experience in the delivery of HUET, we know the best ways for students to gain confidence and experience using a procedural trainer. Over the years we have constructed and utilised numerous configurations including crane and gantry simulators however they presented pool access and safety concerns.

Easy access to your location of choice
Our procedural trainers require no cranes and are positively buoyant for additional safety. There are no external frames preventing accidental obstruction during the escape sequence. Deep or shallow water pools can be used.

Safety is our priority
All our in-water personnel are highly experienced aviators, and water rescue personnel. All our courses are conducted to the highest levels of water safety and the close proximity of the rescue swimmers and SCUBA divers ensure the highest level of in-water safety.

Escape sequence underway
Clearing the exit pathway always under close supervision of safety divers and instructors. Our training model allows the student to experience an increasing level of escape difficulty matched to their developing confidence and practical skills. Our training team will work personally with students to ensure a positive experience is delivered providing a high standard learning experience.

Clearing the cabin
Vital skills and techniques to ensure you do not become obstructed on loose items such as intercom leads or damaged equipment. You will also receive training in specialist skills to secure and remove safety equipment to assist with rescue.
Clear of obstructions
Our in water trainers and safety personnel closely monitor the actions of students at all times. After exiting from the simulator students remain under the continued close supervision of trainers and safety personnel whilst moving clear of the simulator and before ascending to the water surface.
Survival Swimming
All students receive practical instruction in a variety of water survival techniques and rescue survival swimming activities. Specific training is provided for cold water immersion.
Training in the donning, inflation and survival use of lifejackets is provided. Students will also experience the cold water survival positions called HELP and Huddle.

Liferaft Drills
All students will reciveLiferaft deployment, boarding, injured person recovery, rescue alerting and onboard management practices.
